The DaRosas are part of the formidable House of Scorpion, an order that uses their ghosts to control global politics and hoard resources. Jessie and Jill intend to introduce Charlie and Sam to the cutthroat world of death god Houses—but before they can, the DaRosas’ ghosts go missing.
The elders within House of Scorpion find it awfully suspicious that Charlie and Sam arrived on the scene just before this unprecedented calamity, and they accuse the Ford siblings of stealing their spirits to elevate the fallen House of Snake.
